The Alphabet Arc to help overcome misconceptions in letter names and sounds and to help reach a level of automaticity. A key part of the specialist lesson.
The Ace Spelling dictionary. If your child can't use a normal dictionary then this one is designed for people with dyslexia. A great help in the classroom and for homework.
The Spelling Window
This 'Lazy Eight' activity can help with letter formation and help children cross their 'midline'. This is something that can affect their coordination and as a result their handwriting.
The 'Spelling Window' is for children to learn spellings that can't be sounded out. To some children they are known as tricky words. They will enjoy this activity, especially when they have to close their eyes to spell the word !!
